I am a woman. I open doors for people, or hold doors if someone is close. If I receive no acknowledgement for this, It doesn’t ruin my day. Why? BECAUSE YOU DON’T DESERVE ANYTHING FOR BEING A DESCENT HUMAN BEING! NO COOKIE, PARTY HAT OR BLOW JOB, NOTHING. YOU FUCKING DO IT BECAUSE (BEING POLITE) IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!
And this may be news to you BUT MAYBE SHE DIDN’T SMILE AT YOU OR SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE SHE WAS DEEP IN THOUGHT, HER CAT DIED, SHE WAS RUSHING TO THE BATHROOM TO CHANGE HER TAMPON, WHO THE FUCK KNOWS? But here’s the rub, sunshine: NOT.ONE. WOMAN. ON. THE. PLANET. OWES. YOUR. SORRY. ENTITLED. ARSE. A. FUCKING. SMILE.
